Issue Position: CRIMINAL JUSTICE REFORM

Issue Position

I will work to ensure that our criminal justice system is fair and equitable. This means working to ensure our prisons have the appropriate amount of funding to operate, ensuring that private prisons do not come into existence and also working to reduce the amount of people entering prisons (especially for minor offenses). I also want to review Sentencing Guidelines need to ensure equity and fairness.
